Crab Run This is a "one way" route from ~ 60 mi west from NY to Rock Hall MD on the Chesapeake Bay for the express purpose of pigging out on Crabs and other "Fruits de Mere" However it's not a direct route, instead it manages to cover some of the finest twisting backroads in S-E PA + probably the best twisting road in DE before relaxing to cruise on down to the Bay. About midway, you have an opportunity to stop, eat German and/or fresh seafood and sample superb brews from Stoundt's brewery. If you like the beer, there's a funky 50's style motel next door so you can elect to sleep over and finish the route the next day. Miles=315 |

Cape Vincent NY to Road Atlanta GA This route was created for a 4 day ride to Road Atlanta, using mostly (twisting) back roads. There are options to jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway or to use the Interstate enroute, but if you stay on the main route, you won't flat spot your tires! If you live in the Mid-Atlantic or the North-East, all or part of the route may be useful if you're headed to Deals Gap, the Smokey Mountains etc. Miles=1220 |
